Good Morning Neighbour! ☕

Octopuses have three hearts, and two of them clock off when they swim. If that’s not a sign to avoid cardio, nothing is.

In today’s Good Morning Pinner:

  • A free Hatch End art exhibition runs through Thursday

  • The Very Hungry Caterpillar rolls into Harrow next weekend

  • Friday’s market and the midweek socials have you covered

Let’s dive in.

This Week in HA5

  • Harrow Arts Centre has two easy wins this week: the free Harrow Arts Society exhibition runs until Thursday 26 Mar, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show arrives next weekend if you want to get ahead on family plans.

  • The Art of Knots adds another free browse to the week, with Sonali Kosrabe’s handmade macrame work on show in Greenhill Art Pod.

  • The social calendar still earns its keep, with board games on Monday, quizzes from Tuesday to Thursday, and Ruislip Country Market on Friday morning.

Community Corner

If this week feels a touch quiet, that is also a decent reminder that community value is not always “breaking news”. Sometimes it is simply knowing there is a free exhibition in Hatch End, a museum you can wander, or a local plan you would have missed otherwise.

Transport

  • The Metropolitan Line will be partially closed between Wembley Park and Aldgate next weekend. The Jubilee Line is expected to run normally, so journey disruptions should be minimal.

  • A reminder that the Uxbridge branch of the Piccadilly Line is closed today. Replacement buses are available. Service resumes normally from Monday, with no planned closures in the upcoming week.

Civic Updates

Local elections take place on Thursday 7 May 2026. If voting is on your to-do list, the current Harrow guidance says the deadline to register is Monday 20 April 2026, and photo ID is required at the polling station. More info

Dog of the Week

(Something to cheer you up before Monday rolls around.)

Say hi to Molly!
📸 LNC Walks

Molly has been on such a journey with us.

When she first joined, she found new people overwhelming and struggled to trust. She needed space, time, and patience, all things we’ve worked hard to give her.

Since then, she’s built strong, lasting bonds with our team and is growing in confidence with every walk. She’s more relaxed, more settled, and starting to really enjoy being out.

Seeing Molly begin to engage with other dogs has filled us with great joy. She’s even showing the early signs of play.

She still takes her time with new people, and that’s okay. The progress she’s made speaks for itself.
