Good Morning Neighbour! ☕
This week, Pinner gets its own proper little concert season.
Pinner Music Festival turns 60, Bike Week gives Harrow a reason to wobble proudly into the saddle, and Pinner Library has a couple of useful children's activities for anyone whose weekend planning currently consists of "we will see".
In today's Good Morning Pinner:
Pinner Music Festival runs from 8 to 13 June at Pinner Parish Church
Bike Week brings free led rides across Harrow from 8 to 14 June
Pinner Library has Hi-Vis storytime and a Saturday craft session this week
Let’s dive in.

This Week in HA5
Pinner Music Festival is the big one this week. The 60th festival runs from Monday 8 to Saturday 13 June at Pinner Parish Church, with lunchtime and evening concerts, two newly commissioned works, and fundraising for the church organ restoration. Festival details
Bike Week is also here, if your bicycle has been acting mainly as hallway sculpture. Harrow Cycle Hub has free led rides across the week, including Hatch End, Harrow, Kenton and an arty ride on Saturday. Ride listings
Saturday morning travel into town needs a quick glance before you leave. TfL has planned works on the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines on Saturday 13 June, with the Metropolitan line closed from Aldgate to Harrow-on-the-Hill until 10:30am.

Local Business News
Cafe Pascucci's Hatch End expansion is still one to keep an eye on. The cafe is expanding into the old Post Office, which should make that bit of the high street feel a little more awake.

Community Corner
Harrow U3A's Great Big Green Week display is still up at Greenhill Art Pod. It celebrates Harrow nature conservation areas and other green themes, and is viewable 24/7 until Sunday 14 June at Greenhill Place, HA1 2EB.
Harrow Cycle Hub has free led rides for Bike Week. You need a Let's Ride login to book, but the rides themselves are free, friendly and led by qualified volunteer ride leaders. Ride listings
Seen a local sign, mystery shopfront, very specific noticeboard drama or useful community callout? Send it over. These are the tiny things that make this newsletter much more fun than a spreadsheet wearing shoes.
Transport
Saturday 13 June is the fiddly one. The Metropolitan line closed from Aldgate to Harrow-on-the-Hill until 10:30am, and the Piccadilly line closed from Hyde Park Corner to Acton Town until 2pm. There is also no Piccadilly service on the whole line during Friday Night Tube.
Civic Updates
No fresh civic update this week. The council is working hard behind the scenes!
Pet of the Week
No crowned pet this week, which means the throne is sitting there looking deeply under-occupied.
If your pet has recently been promoted to Head of Window Surveillance, Chief Biscuit Inspector, Assistant Laundry Saboteur or any other important household role, send one photo, their name, and their job title this way.
Closing
Thank you for reading Good Morning Pinner today.
If you only book one thing this week, make it something from Pinner Music Festival. If you only do one practical thing, check Saturday travel before heading into town. If you only do one nosy thing, keep an eye on that old Post Office in Hatch End.
See you next Sunday, same time, same place.
P.S. - If you found something useful, please share it with a neighbour!
