Good Morning Neighbour! ☕

Frosty mornings and twinkling lights everywhere – festive feels in Pinner this week, perfect for wrapping up warm and enjoying the village glow.

In today’s Good Morning Pinner:
→ Miniature trains and Christmas magic on the tracks
→ Wellness wins and community spirit at our local Health Hive
→ A heart-warming celebration of NHS staff achievements

Let’s dive in.

This Week in HA5

  • A car flipped onto its side on Rickmansworth Road in Pinner Green on 11 December, closing the road for seven hours while emergency services responded. Thankfully, the patient was treated and taken to hospital – a reminder to drive carefully on these icy mornings.

  • Staff from Northwick Park Hospital were celebrated at the annual NHS awards this week, recognising outstanding care, teamwork and dedication. Always uplifting to see local healthcare heroes getting the appreciation they deserve.

Behind the Counter

Meet Simone Richards from Health Hive Pinner

Simone's been coaching at the Health Hive for the past six months, but she's been part of the club since it opened four years ago. “Being a wellness coach is so rewarding and important as you serve the local community with health and wellness alongside local services like the Pinn Medical Centre,” she says.

With over 200 club members across two locations, they support everyone online and in-person with health, nutrition, one-to-one coaching and accountability. Members rave about the Breakfast Club for its interaction, friendships and that ever-important motivation over a healthy bite.

The team even hits the paths in Pinner Village Gardens for free daily walks, chatting to residents and spreading the word. Club owner Charlie Paradise has built strong ties with local spots like the butchers, cafés and The Whittington pub over the years.

Breakfast Club runs Monday–Friday 6:30–10am and Saturday 7:30–10am. Pop in and say hi – the community's waiting!
