Meet the Lovely Humans
Say hello to the lovely human at LNC Walks
Catherine has lived in Pinner her whole life, 30 years and counting, and launched LNC Walks locally in 2022. What began as a passion for dogs has grown into a premium, behaviour-led walking and training service supporting dogs (and their owners) across the area.

Catherine from LNC Walks
Her favourite part of the job? Watching dogs genuinely change over time - building confidence, learning calmer habits, strengthening bonds with their humans, and making new friends along the way. Seeing that progress never gets old.
Catherine says there’s no single “secret”, just structure, consistency, and purpose behind everything she does. Every walk is designed intentionally, and the dogs thrive because of it.
When she’s off duty, you’ll usually find her taking a peaceful stroll through Pinner Village Gardens with her German Shepherd, Linc, followed by a drink and snacks at The Whittington, Linc’s favourite hangout.
Catherine describes LNC Walks as a professional, community-focused service built around raising standards for dogs, owners, and the industry as a whole. She also hosts group neutrality walks twice a month, giving local owners the chance to practise calm, structured behaviour together.

Has anyone else noticed the arrivals display at the Pinner Station bus stop hasn’t worked for months? It’s a great icebreaker while waiting for the bus, though.

The next bus arrives in..."I don't know!"
GMP Small Wins
Earlier this week, I was invited by Sarah Drakard from Cruze Financial Solutions to Pinner Women in Business to share how Good Morning Pinner helps local businesses reach nearby customers. Around 50 local business owners came along, including event organisers, estate agents, and service-based businesses like consultants and clinic owners.
What stood out: about 20 attendees already recognised Good Morning Pinner, and 10 said they discovered the meetup through GMP.
It’s early days, but it’s encouraging to see GMP helping local events and services reach the people they’re meant to serve.
Transport
The Watford, Chesham, and Amersham branches of the Metropolitan line will be closed from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 February for planned engineering works.
Services on the Piccadilly line will be disrupted from the evening of Sunday 15 February to the morning of Saturday 21 February. This is because of strikes planned at Northfields Depot. Services may start later than normal. There may be delays throughout the day, particularly before 8am. Night Tube services will run on Friday 20 February, but there may be cancellations.
The Uxbridge branch of the Metropolitan line will operate normally, but expect it to be busier and plan your journey accordingly.
The Metropolitan line streak is still on and at week 4...right?
Dog of the Week
(Something to cheer you up after reading about the service disruptions coming next week.)

Say hi to Woody!
📸 The Pampered Pooch
Woody is always an absolute dream to groom. From the moment he walks in, he’s calm, relaxed, and happy to settle in for a pamper. His gentle nature and steady temperament make every appointment smooth and enjoyable.
As a show Cocker Spaniel, Woody has that beautiful, flowing coat that needs regular care to keep it looking its best. He stands patiently throughout his groom, and those big, soulful eyes and perfectly feathered ears never fail to win hearts.
Dogs like Woody are exactly why grooming is such a rewarding job. A lovely boy inside and out, and always a pleasure to groom.
